Edges of Adulthood

"Edges of Adulthood" is a story about a student named Sam who enrolls in Academy X in pursuit of a successful future. However, he does this not out of personal ambition, but in hopes of resolving his main problem - paying off his family's financial debt. Inner conflict tears at him as he struggles between "the obligation to repay his family" and "building his own life." - Adding to this, a war breaks out in a neighboring country. Although his country is not directly involved in the conflict, its leadership prepares for possible invasion while covertly helping the defending neighbor.
